Objectives:
Main objectives of this baseline environmental and social profile study were: Collecting the latest environmental and social information, to be required for the preliminary environmental scoping and screening; Conducting preliminary environmental impact evaluation, by assessing the order of the magnitude; Possible land-take and/or resettlement, to be caused by the development programs and/or projects on land; Regional water quality degradation/damages on existing fishing ground and/or fish farms, to be caused by development programs and/or projects in the river and/or sea; Summarizing relevant compensation to be required for the implementation of selected development programs and/or projects.
