Education and Skills Development

MSL has broad experience in the field of education having undertaken a variety of assignments encompassing comprehensive education sector planning through needs analysis to the design and provision of training courses and development of the human resource management system for teachers. We have supported governments to develop educational plans for the national level and conducted regional studies on several aspects regarding education policy, differences in school finance management and reform. Most of our assignments has involved detailed assessment of education and training needs at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels and including vocational training, early childhood development, impact analysis, bottleneck analysis, lower and upper secondary education, ICT, comparative analysis, assessing equity to quality education and the development of policy recommendations.

We are considered as one of the pioneers of education sector development in Bangladesh for our invaluable participation in drafting the National Education System Reform Strategy and Bangladesh National Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework. Our vast experience as consultants in the developing and developed world gives us the ability to specify realistic solutions to particular problems taking into account local social, economic and cultural factors. In addition, our experience as a training provider in many countries reinforces this by giving us an insight into the practical requirements of service delivery. With the mission to improve quality and access to education for all, we partner with practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to develop a policies and recommendations for an equitable society. We have provided services on the education sector in Bangladesh, Afghanistan, China, Indonesia, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao PDR, Mongolia, Myanmar, Viet Nam, Nepal, Bhutan, Pakistan, Uzbekistan funded by the ADB, World Bank, UNICEF, UNESCO, and ILO.
