As a President and Managing director Mr. Syed Nuruddin Ahmed is a purpose-driven leader with a strong track record of growth, client service and sector leadership.
With 30+ years of experience, as a development sector leader working globally, Mr. Ahmed’s personal passion to his work has made impactful contribution around the world. Under his directorship and management, his diversified consultancy includes- management reform and human resources management, public administration and governance, livelihood promotion, education and skills development, financial management, tax policy analysis and revenue forecasting and tax and customs administration, institutional capacity building, information and communication technology (ICT). He spent most of his corporate career with Maxwell Stamp Ltd. and worked/working in around 110 projects around the world. Mr. Ahmed received the Top Industry Award (British Expertise Award), by serving as the focal point of the Chars Livelihood initiative, Phases 1 and 2, a 12-year period programme which is the largest flagship initiative in the world aimed at reducing poverty.
He was a visiting lecturer of Department of Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development of University of Minnesota, USA to deliver lecture on Strategies for the International Development of Education Systems to the PhD students and faculty members. Moreover, he conducted various studies in the health sector as a visiting scholar of Arnold School of Public Health, University of South Carolina,
His current interest focuses on trade market, capital market, transport, plastic pollution, social protection, and SME, export development, research and survey management and large-scale fund management.
Outside of Maxwell Stamp Ltd (MSL), Max Well Consulting FZ-LLC (MWC), Maxwell Stamp Pakistan Ltd (MSPL), Maxwell Stamp LLC, he is the founding chairman of the Thriving Skills Limited (an online based learning platform) and SNAD Foundation (a non-profit organization) in Bangladesh. He is also a Founding Managing Trustee of the newly established think tank named Center for Inclusive Development Dialogue (CIDD). He is also the member of British Business Group Trust, Chairman of the Teacher Development Institute (TDI), which is an initiative to develop and support schools, individual teachers, trainers of different NGOs and interested parents for promoting quality education. Under TDI, Kids Club was established in 2010 to serve children with gifted nature, average intellectual ability and children with mild to moderate disabilities.
